Banana Waffles


Yesterday I got a waffle maker using my flybuys points, so today I thought I’d attempt to make waffles for the family breakfast. Well they turned out great and have no refined sugar, gluten free and real food.

Ingredients: 4 banana, 4 eggs, 1/2 cup coconut flour, 1/4 cup coconut oil (melted), 1/2 cup almond or cocao butter, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp vanilla essence.  Topping I drizzled some maple syrup and raspberries.

1. Preheat your waffle maker. Mash up the bananas, then add eggs, coconut oil, butter and whisk up.

2. Add the flour,  baking powder, baking soda and vanilla essence then whisk until all combined and smooth.

3. The batter is ready for your waffle maker, just follow instructions for your maker.
